Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme

The "Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme" is a Pension Scheme by the Department of Social Justice & Special Assistance, Govt. of Maharashtra. In this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹ 600/- is provided to destitute persons in the state of Maharashtra. Only citizens who are permanent residents of the state of Maharashtra are eligible to apply for this scheme. This scheme is 100% funded by the Govt. of Maharashtra

पुणे महानगरपालिका योजना

National Family Benefit Scheme

Under this Scheme in case of death of a primary bread winner in the BPL Family in the age group of 18 to 59 years, the affected family is provided with one time Lump sum Financial assistance of Rs. 20000/- from the central government.

YOUTH WELFARE SCHEME

Grant for Self Employment: Pune Municipal Corporation provides a grant of Rs. 5000/- to the Youth between the age group of 18 to 45 to start their own business.

Financial assistance for Higher & Technical education

Under this scheme, the students, who are opting for higher education through government-approved degree/diploma and have secured 60% or above in 10th or 12th exam, will be given financial aid of Rs. 10,000 by Pune Municipal Corporation. Degree students get financial assistance every year & diploma students will receive a one time grant for their technical education.

NIGHT SHELTER PROJECT

the government has announced that it has implemented the night shelter project in Pune city. In accordance with the orders and the guiding principles prescribed by the government, the Social Development Department, Pune Municipal Corporation, with co-operation from the NGOs, is implementing the night shelter project in order to provide the facility of shelter to the homeless and destitute in the city.
